About Dump Stations Near Me
Dump Stations Near Me is a free, comprehensive directory of RV sanitation dump stations across the United States. It was built because existing dump station finders are thin, outdated, or frustrating to use.
Our goal: make it fast and easy to find a dump station on your route, with accurate fee information, potable water availability, hours, and directions — all in one place.

How the Data Pipeline Works
- A weekly automated job fetches all
amenity=sanitary_dump_stationfeatures from the Overpass API. - Stations are geocoded to the nearest city/town using the Nominatim reverse-geocoding API.
- Fee, access, potable water, hours, and big-rig attributes are normalized from OSM tags.
- The pipeline commits the updated data to the repository, which triggers a new site build and deployment.
What We Don't Cover
- Private stations not mapped in OSM.
- Stations that have been demolished or permanently closed (we rely on OSM updates to reflect this).
- Real-time availability or wait times.
